I think I might have spelled that wrong... but, anyway!
Talk about religion here, so you don't have to in other threads! You can begin your nagging.

I disagree with Catholocism (spelling?) and the Church as an institution, but I am Christian.

Catholic. Catholic is one of the first forms of Christianity and has changed by very little since Jesus walked the Earth, So I don't know why all these other forms of Christianity hates it so much.

I don't like the whole structure of the Catholic Church. Like the Pope, I don't really see what the big deal there is. A bunch of Cardinals in Italy lock themselves in a room, claim to be divinely inspired, then just pick the next pope who's someone that is easily manipulated and old enough to not last long. And I don't like the church as an institution because it begs for corruption. I just believe in pure, personal worship of God, worshiping how you want to worship, not how someone tells you is the "propper" way to worship.

I agree Phantom. My mother had me read a christian bible once (not the whole thing) and it was just a bunch of fucked up lie's.

Well, some of the stories, like Noah's arc, were based on real events. There was an actual flood, and it happened at the end of the last ice age because the ice had melted, which was about the time the agricultural revolution began.

many stories in the bible are in fact made up, but they're there to make a point, not for you to think that they're true.
