in an effort to stay at least semi-active i have taken it upon myself to start up some reviews and random recommendations of various let's plays, while i can't guarantee that i'll always be funny or insightful, it's just my opinion. comments, insults and constructive criticism are all welcome. i will, however review sufficiently large quest mods... as opposed to completely cosmetic or game-breaking ones.

okay, is anyone other than me disappointed that there aren't any snarky dialogue options in oblivion? whatever... time for an overview.
okay, this is because i haven't finished new vegas, but whatever. gameplay-wise it is more or less fallout 3.5, apart from the addition of 'hardcore mode' for role-players which adds the need to keep track of hunger, thirst and sleep along with giving ammo weight and makes stimpaks and rad-away heal over time... replacing karma is a faction reputation system, let your rep fall too low and you'll very likely be shot on sight... while most of the factions and tribes you encounter rarely interact... some, like the expansionistic, greedy and sorta-corrupt NCR or the dog-kicking, post-nuclear roman pretenders of Ceaser's legion... who are likely to enslave or crucify you at the drop of a hat are openly hostile to eachother... caught in the middle are the citizens of new vegas, super mutants, raiders and what's left of the mojave chapter of the brotherhood of steel... oh and there are various hostile forms of wildlife such as deathclaws, radscorpions and cazadors(*shudder*) among the worst things out there.
