the two-parter they did around this was kind of retarded, although manatees being the minds behind Family Guy was logical enough. the article doesn't fully mention why Theo Van Gogh ended up getting IRL-banned, the guy was pretty much a Dutch Klansman spewing regular hatred at all minorities but with special attention towards Muslims. yeah its a bad sign when its certain religions in particular that will threaten retaliation over things like this, but historically you can find examples of that in all religions, pretty much.
the western mindset is different from the eastern one due to different levels of social progress, i guess. over here people will protest with signs and interviews and shit, but thats all, most of the time. over there, its still the way of the gun in most respects, and when the two worlds collide over volatile issues, yeah you're gonna get fireworks.
followers of the Christian faith can be just as easily incited to violence in defense of their faith, it just hasn't happened as often in this present day.
so i guess the bottom line is people are fucked up.

That's true, but still taking the life of a human being because of religion doesn't make any sense whatsoever, isn't religion supposed to be the source of morals in society? And the fact that a group of people hate whenever their prophet is depicted in any way makes it even better for some people to do so because they know they'll get a strong reaction out of it, so in a way it's those fanatics own fault for taking things waaay too far.

You know what the sad thing is?
Nowhere in the Qur'an does it say to kill the infidels, treat woman like shit, or 72 virgins in heaven.
In fact, it encourages tolerance towards the other Abrahamic religions and promotes peace.
No idea where these terrorist groups are pulling their bullshit from.

It can't be coming out of their asses because terrorists are too busy butt-fucking each other and complaining about conditions in their countries even though its their own fault they choose to kill innocent people instead of creating schools for their kids to go to to prevent them from making the same mistakes their parents made.

I wish I could bump your fist so much right now Arnold. as for the topic at hand, this is absolute bullshit. Do the creators have a long lasting contract with Comedy Central? If it runs out soon, they should just break off from CC and keep their shit online & on dvd's. I mean, you can already watch every episode on their site for free already, so why the fuck not? On the other hand, judging by Trey & Matt's response on their website, I have a feeling shits about to go down on tomorrows episode...could be wrong though.
