Do you believe in life outside of earth? And if you do, describe how you think it would be like.

Its entirely possible. As far As I can see, Theres no limit to how life could have evolved on another planet. Take Vertebrates of Earth for Example; They all evolved having four limbs. An evolution that took place millions and millions of years ago. On a Different planet, Creatures could evolve completley different. Instead of having four limbs, they could have just two. or three. or one. Or seven. Or no Limbs at all.
ANYTHING that evolved here on earth has very little chance of having been evolved on another planet.
Who's to say any life on another planet even has a brain? They could have evolved something completley different that serves the same function.
The person who best described how greatly different an extra terrestrial species can evolve was Horror/sci fi writer H.P. Lovecraft. Take The Elder Things from his stories.
Six feet end to end, three and five-tenths feet central diameter, tapering to one foot at each end. Like a barrel with five bulging ridges in place of staves. Lateral breakages, as of thinnish stalks, are at equator in middle of these ridges. In furrows between ridges are curious growths – combs or wings that fold up and spread out like fans. . . which gives almost seven-foot wing spread. Arrangement reminds one of certain monsters of primal myth, especially fabled Elder Things in [the] Necronomicon. —H.P. Lovecraft, At the Mountains of Madness
The Elder Things were vegetable-like in shape, having radial symmetry instead of the bilateral symmetry of bipeds. They also differed in that they had a five-lobed brain. In terms of nutrition and reproduction, the Elder Things exhibited vegetal as well as animal characteristics. Though they could make use of both organic and inorganic substances, the Elder Things were preferably carnivorous. They were also amphibious.
The bodies of the Elder Things were incredibly tough, capable of withstanding the pressures of the deepest ocean. Few died except by accident or violence. The beings were also capable of hibernating for vast epochs of time. Nonetheless, unlike other beings of the mythos, the Elder Things were made of normal, terrestrial matter.

i, myself am a staunch believer in extraterrestrial and even extraplaner beings... quite simply i'm a big fan of any wierd organisms not of this planet, heck.. i saw this documentry on the discovery channel about theoretical life forms on the planet Darwin IV... it was actually quite cool... heck, we could quite simply see a mushroom that zaps anything that comes between two of them, oceans of cells that snaches any insect that comes near it... the possibilities are for the lack of a better word: endless... just whatever direction the genetic codes determine...

You took the words right out of my mouth Phantom.
I agree, and don't understand why scientists are searching the skys for life. Why not instead of spending millions in stuff like that, we fix up are planet. Maybe than they'll think, "hey, look, their not as stupid as we thought." The possibillity of life can only be estimated once we understand how big are universe is. And who's knows if theirs only one universe. Their could millions, which, when you think about it, it can really make your head hurt.

Exactly... we don't know what non carbon-based lifeforms are like, that would be like trying to imagine a new colour you've never seen before. We wouldn't even know they existed if we couldn't see/hear/smell/taste/touch them so the possiblities are endless.
