Remember when we first met Alex on the cupa forum, how he told us he saw that mysterious and illusive "Doochie" character? That he filmed it but was never able to get the footage online? Yet all along SWORE it was true?

Alex, do not misunderstand me. I am not trying to make you look bad in front of the others, nor am I trying your patience. Now that we know and love you other than for your alleged sighting of that dis-apparating goblin (and I seem to remember mention of a freakishly big spider, too), please set the record straight once and for all, and I'll believe your answer:

Pretty much every story on the chupa forum was a load of hogwash, and you know what I'm getting at. Is what you say entirely true? Partly true? Just going along with the fad of the time, and making up a story? Exaggerated? etc

I won't antagonise you further, buddy. But I would like an answer. Incidently, while staying at a friend's last summer (I swear this is true, dammit) he told me about a phenomenon that occured only in his room:

Middle of the night, with the lights off, just the two of us guys (don't get any ideas!). He has an ordinary video camera, (and I repeated the experiment with my camera, and got the same results) and he set it to night-vision mode and filmed about 5 minutes of footage around his room. As he filmed he said "yep, it's happening again" so we wound back and watched the footage. At first all I could see on the playback was an empty room and my handsome self. But gradually, sure enough, tiny electric-blue orbs, the size and appearance of fire flies began to appear. They moved in irregular patterns - sometimes hovering, or whizzing around. And they were CLOSE to us. I mean close. We could not see them with the naked eye, nor with the lights on, but sure enough, on most attempts, we got the same strange results.
Only works in his room. How odd.

Another story, (true again) this time at my house! When I was younger - 10 or so, my dear mommar would give myself and my brother (at the time 5 or 6) a lift to school. One cold morning she told me to summon him to get in the car, so I sought him out. I saw him sitting at the table, drawing or writing something, and so casually told him to get in the car. Upon exiting the house I saw that he was already IN THE CAR, and no way, NO WAY could he have gotten past me (not possible in the structure of our house).

Natually alarmed, I returned to the dining room table (with some apprehension, I can tell you!) to see who was sitting there. It was empty. The point is I DEFINITELY saw someone. As far as I can recollect:

1. Sitting at the table, drawing or writing.
2. The figure was endowed in shadow, a silloheutte if you will. This made it difficult to distinguish the features of the figure, and at a glance, I naturally thought it was my brother.

And that was that. Out of sight, out of mind, and off I went to school. Yet the plot thickens...

I won't bother with dramatic suspense, or any of that crap, I'll get straight to the point. Last year I awoke with a start in the middle of the night to find a silloheutted figure looming at the end of my bedroom, and even in my tired confusion it struck me that it looked just like the figure at the table all those years ago. I was also alarmed to discover myself in a state of paralysis. I could barely lift my arm, it felt so heavy. My whole body was weighed down by some unseen force, and as this huge figure advanced on me, darkened arms out-stretched, I could no nothing. I couldn't speak. I couldn't scream. It's hands closed around my neck, I could feel it choking the air out of me... And then it was gone. So weary was I, that I actually collapsed back to sleep straight away, and only fretted about it in the morning.

Oh yeah, I also saw this thing a third time. I was in the bathroom and the mirror had steamed up. Yet along with my reflection I could see it standing behind me. That same darkened humanoid. I turned to see nothing. I rubbed the condensation off of the mirror. Again, nothing. This mosty recent incident has been accompanied by (admittedly when I'm alone in the house) doors slamming, footsteps, crashes, objects whizzing off of shelves, and all those other ghosty cliches. All true, dammit! All true!!!!!!

Oh yeah!!! I also once heard a woman's voice crying downstairs, and a whistling and humming in the attic through the ceiling (that one was creepy! No way was I going up there!)

Somebody get me an exorcist!

As far as I know, the story was true. It was only Calum who SAW the thing, but I heard it and had a few paranormal encounters in my house. The video footage WASN'T Douchey, it turned out to be just some odd shapes outside, but I laid that to rest back on El Chupa. Douchey seems to have faded into non-existence now (which may be an indication that Calum was making the whole thing up, though as the story advanced, that became more likely when he told me stuff about how he used to go out into the woods at night and see it and the Red-eyes. He also said something about how his then-girlfriend had started to be stalked by a "gold" version. About that time I stopped believing him, though he had been adament to that point that it was true, but that just seemed TOO far fetched. Plus, he's hardly been mentioned ever since, so the creature has faded into doubt, if not been completely forgotten by me).

As far as I was concerned three years ago, it was true and I'd made nothing up.

Many people have reported being awoken at night to a terrifying black figure (Sometimes with a grotesgue face, depending on how dark the room is) which aproaches them slowly with its arms stretched out.











This has been associated with 'Demons', 'Demonic posession' and ghost phenomenon.

Its sometimes known as 'Old Hag Syndrome' , and can be attributed to Sleep Paralysis. Although theres no concrete studies into this, people in this field have suggested that stress can bring about this. While this may be true in some cases, there are those who maintain that this is not the case in their particular experiences. A few female victims have reported actual physical intercourse with an unseen entity or group of entities, and this has, according to them, led to "rape" by invisible presences at later times, when alone and fully awake. This has been sometimes known to have happened after playng a ouiji board...... I hate those things.... I know some people who have had very bad experiences with those...

The blue orb things you describe are pretty strange too. The colour and eractic movemement might rule out common dust particles. I don't know, ask your friend (Is it Martin?) to upload the video or send it this way. Should be interesting to see if it really is something strange.

The fact it happened to your cam pretty much rules out a technical fault.

I think I saw some of a programme a few years back about the entities that harass people in the night. Many of the people interviewed on the show couldn't sleep anymore, as the creatures had attacked them.

Needless to say, it scared the shit out of me.

I certainly seemed to suffer from "sleep paralysis" at the time, but I am certainly not a stressed guy!
I have slept like a baby since, although I glimpsed it 4 times in total, (another incident in the hall one night, as I went to fetch a glass of water. I approached it, and it seemed to - What's the word - disapparate as I got close. Perhaps my eyes decieve me).

To me your experiences don't seem like stress related sleep paralysis. I should know because I used to get it alot. I remember awaking in a haze after a dream not being able to move feeling a presense.

It can be brought on by a temperature or flu too.

The fact that you were fully awake is strange too, with the other strange happenings.


Oh yeah, Andre (My step bro) has similar experiences. He lives out in the middle of a remote forest in Texas, you can imagian what might occur......

I've 'eard 'bout them shadow spooks on that radio show, Coast to Coast AM. People always call in about them, they call them 'shadow people'. And they describe all the stuff George basically described.

One time, it was late at night, and I herd a rattling in the walls, And then I herd somthing run down the hallway, then a door opened and closed. the foot steps were light and quick, as if made by somthing very small. I closed my door, and pulld my covers over my head. I was only 10 when it happened.

When I said these strange occurences happen on a regular basis at my place I MEANT IT. Only last night (I swear this one is true, I'm not just trying to entertain you guys) when I was in bed I heard footsteps approach down the hall and then my door crashed open with a bang. What did I see? Nothing. So sharp was the crash that my sister investigated and asked me what was wrong. I honestly didn't know what to tell her, so I said I threw a shoe at the door to close it. I was lying...

That's spooky, man.

Calum used to tell me stuff about when he was younger, but he might have been shitting me. He said that there used to be a grate in his ceiling which led up to the attic and he could hear breathing through it and see stuff. He also told me that he woke up one night, the cupboard door was a jar and there was a hissing coming from it, then it slammed. He also said something about getting stuck in the loft and hearing/feeling something moving about...

Oh, and when we were hunting Douchey, he reckons he could see a ghost at the end of his corridor (while me and Lynnesey were there... We couldn't see it). He said he walked out, the ghost tried to strike him with a sword and missed, but he "felt the air move".

I think it was around this time I really started to doubt the integrity of the Douchey story...
