I don't get what people have against country. The songs are about real stuff, and the songs that aren't are just plain funny. If a song isn't funny, chances are that it's about something that you can relate to. I'd say that 90% of country songs are either funny or good because they relate to the listener, and the other 10% is just bad because it says "senorita" in it. But I don't know, does anyone who hates country have a rational explaination for it?

I fucking hate country music. I think its because I have grown up around it SO much, and I am so rebellious, it has made me want something different. And I hate it, because the only things they write about are women and booze.
for the record though, I do like Carrie Underwood.

I like alot of it, but I don't know many of the artists because I just listen to the radio mainly, so I don't know if I know anything by Chet Atkins.

My attitude's towards country music have really changed over the past year.
There are some good tunes out there, much more respectable than your average hip hop song nowadays and whatever the hell else they're playing.
Johnny Cash alone is a genius.
