I don't know if any of you remember me reporting on my failed attempt to create a sitcom (it actually only failed because the computer crashed and we lost everything and then Jacko died...) well, I have news!!! Myself, Calum, Satinder and co are to return to the film sets (well, not really film sets... and only me and Calum were involved before anyway...) with a new attempt at reviving the classic storyline of a blind man, a fat teenager and a whole host of characters with difficulties (some are disabled, some are just plain old) in the first series of "Challenged" (AKA "Great Barr")!!! The show also addapts the format of a documentary, "Fly-on-the-wall" spoof with mock interviews and situations!
Peeps (Jacko), I. C. Nuffing (Calum)'s faithful guide dog (with no sense of direction) was killed when the old man "tied him up outside" (in the middle of a main road...), his care worker, Miss Kathy Pott (Alex) has abandoned him as he is far too much work and his life-long dream of owning a social club has been ruined by unconvicted arsonist and rival, Gerry Atrick (also Alex). The first episode deals with the difficulties endured by I.C. Nuffing every day and also begs to ask the question, "just how blind is this guy, anyway???"
Episode 2 focuses on Tubbo (Alex) an unpopular, wimpy, fat child with no friends who joins a weight-losing group in a desperate attempt to turn things around. With interviews from Tubbo's teachers and his weight counsellor (Oggelsby!!!)
Other episode details are currently top-secret, but include a paranoid child, a boy on a walking stick, an elderly couple, illiterate people, deaf people and many more!!!
