the main consol on the juggernaught began beeping wildly. "enemy hyperspace signatures inbound." a droid said. "they're onto us, send a distress call on our frequencies, we can't hold out aganst a fleet." the commander ordered while the droid sent the distress call to all ships available. on onderon the situation was hopless, tanna had already taken the easern wing of the palace, the droids were clearing out the western wing, it was a bleak day for onderon, once their leader was killed the battle would be over, atleast on the surface.

The ship was called Dragon slayer. It was anew class of ship. It was a heavy attack destroyer. The commander received a distress call from a nearby cruiser saying it was under attack so his destroyer and to cruisers came to help. “Radar, how many contacts do we have?” Commander Slovinan queried. “One large contact and multiple drop ships sir! I‘m guessing by the amount of drop ships it‘s a carrier! This should be easy.” The man sounded confident and slightly cocky. The commander didn’t like that in a member of his crew. Over confidence brings arrogance, arrogance brings defeat. The commander sat for a few seconds thinking. “Bring us to level with the ship. I want all weapon systems online. Canons, proton torpedo’s aimed at the carrier and I want the fighters deployed to chase after the drop ships. Have them shoot down as many before they reach the atmosphere. Have our drop ships go into the atmosphere with the other Jedi fighters. They’ll be able to sip pass with us gaining the enemy’s attention. That’s all, get to work.” The commander ordered his crew. The crew turned to their consoles and their communicators getting their jobs done would be crucial and they no longer needed the commander telling them what they needed to do. The commander brought up his comm link with the commanders of the other ships. “Commanders, launch your fighters and fire Your weapons on my mark. Tell your Jedi to follow the ones on my ship.” The commander was going to bring the Jedi back to Corucant but was told by high command that they were to be sent into the city to defend it from attackers. The commander didn’t care about the JedI all that much. He knew though that they were supposed to be excellent fighters. So he figured it would be nice to send them on the ground instead of a battalion of regular troops. “Sir! The weapons are online and ready to fire!” The weapons chief yelled. “Prepare to fire on my mark!” The commander barked. The crew tensed and prepared. “FIRE!!!” The ship shuddered from all of the weapons firing at once. The enemy cruiser seemed to shutter even worse than their ship. The commander knew with all of this combined fire the enemy cruiser was going to be destroyed in a few seconds. Then the commander received the signal confirming that all of the fighters and drop ships had launched. The enemy cruiser turned to fire back and smacked the smallest cruiser the “arrester” but it stayed in contact. Then the reports came from the fighters that they had reached the end of the enemy drop ships and were starting to take them out. The commander felt glad and happy. Then the ship “arbiter” exploded in a huge fireball. “What the hell just happened!?” The commander roared. “It appears that their munitions store was hit!” A lieutenant yelled over the noises. The commander was now worried. The enemy cruiser had taken out one of his ships. The crew sat in silence at this loss. “Sir! Their aiming back at the “Arrestor” again!” The same lieutenant spoke. A few seconds of firing the “Arrestor” exploded as well though this time escape pods managed to leave before it was completely destroyed. “Throw everything we have!!!” The commander roared!!!” The enemy cruiser turned to face their ship but was caught in its starboard by a series of massive explosions, thus leading to the batteries to explode and resulting in the rest of the ship to be destroyed. The commander sunk back into his chair. “That was just one cruiser against one destroyer and two other cruisers… How was that possible?” the commander was stumped. “Sir! Hyperspace transmissions are coming! What should we do?” The radar operator questioned. The commander thought for a few seconds then straightened up. “Were going to leave ourselves. Send a transmission to the ground troops that we have to pull out. But that well send reinforcements later.” The communications technician took a few seconds to relay the message then gave a thumbs up. “All right give me a hyper space jump to the nearest base for repairs.” The jump was calculated and performed just as the enemy fleet appeared. The commander felt bad for leaving before he could win the battle on the surface but he figured the JedI could handle themselves.

Five droid cruisers lurched out of hyperspace, only to find the smoldering debris of the Juggernaught and an anonymous Republic cruiser floating solemnly above Onderon. The Republic fleet had fled before the droids could fire a shot. Tanna Stari was alerted to the arrival of the small fleet. It was not THE fleet, but it was reinforcements.
"Form a perimeter around the northern pole of Onderon! Fire at any craft that tries to come through! Republican, civilian, anything!" the ship's commander shouted. "What about Democrat?" questioned a lowly crew droid. "Sure, why not?" replied the commander. "Sir, incoming transmission from da boss," informed another crew droid. A hologram of Darth Xanthos appeared in convenient bite sized form on a small pad in front of the ship's commander. "Commander RON-22... I see the Republicans have fled from you...." "Yes, my lord," replied RON-22. "Commander, it is imperitive that you hunt down and destroy that fleet. Our greater scheme depends on it..." Xanthos hissed. "But sir, the Republic fleet is two times our size... We will be out gunned!" "I will not cooperate with your insecurity, commander. MK 2 would see this task through without any hesitation..." RON-22 stared at the hologram, hiding his frustration (which was pretty easy since he was a robot {a silver one without hair}). "And the ground forces on Onderon? We were to supply them with reinforcements," 22 said. "They will not require reinforcements. Stari can handle herself. I suggest you get a lock on that fleet's position, commander." "Sir," 22 began but was interrupted. "The distance between you and that fleet, commander, is growing wider..." Xanthos growled before terminating the transmission. 22 stared at the pad before issuing commands. "Get a lock on the Republic fleet's whereabouts! Where did they jump to!? Search the Juggernaughts archives! Are they intact!? Faster you nerf herders!"
Meanwhile, on the surface of Onderon, the hunt for two Jedi began...

Jonan Seth had managed to jump out of the back of the drop ship as it plummeted towards the city below. Jonan was less than a mile above the Earth and he needed to act fast. “I hope Bronwen is doing o.k.” Jonan said I a worried tone. He was figuring in the few seconds he had left how he was going to save himself. When the ground approaching him was close enough Jonan let out a huge force wave slowing his speed to that of a fall from just ten feet. He used his JedI training to hit the ground in a sprint running for the crash site to scan for anyone who had been injured. When he came upon the destroyed Cantina his heart jumped in his chest. Jonan ran up to the Cantina and started to remove rubble from the building trying to make a path for any survivors. “If anyone can hear me yell or make a sound!” Jonan screamed frantically. Jonan heard a hydraulic moving behind him and he dodged to the side to avoid incoming blaster fire. But instead of being met by super heated energy he was caught in the side by a wave of heat and shrapnel. The rocket had impacted the little of the entrance that was left after the explosion from the transporter. Jonan tried to recover from the blast as quickly as he could but was caught off guard by a shot from the repeating blasters on the droids. The laser caught him in his upper left thigh. He fell and removed his light saber, sending the rest of the bolts back at the droids energy shield after about twenty shots the shields blinked out of existence. He knew this was his chance. He tried to leap towards the droid but the pain in his leg kept him from that. The droid was appearing to get ready to launch another rocket, Jonan sparked an idea. The droid launched the rocket at Jonan feet as to have him catch the shrapnel. He used the force to guide the missile in a severe drop that made the missile take out its own launcher causing a cascade of explosions to which Jonan gave a smirk. “Damn droids, never learn do you.” He managed to stand and took a look at his wound. He gave a frown as he eyed it. “Just scratched me. These are some mean blasters. Got to watch out for that better.” Jonan stood and gave a look at the Cantina. He noted that this area of Onderon looked old enough to be back from the great Jedi civil war era. He decided to leave the area and find the palace as soon as possible to help defend the palace. Jonan made a few strides down the only street that was available for escape and after a few steeps made a jump for the wall. He could hear the sound of blaster fire off in the distance. But then he heard the sounds of feet coming closer and closer. Jonan could hear the soldiers conversation as they drew nearer and nearer. “Captain, do you think we can hold the city?” The man sounded as if he had a weight logged in his throat. “Does it matter if we can or can’t?” The captain roared back at the nervous man. Jonan could hear the men shouting curses as they ran towards the crash site. Jonan realized that he would have to explain himself quickly in order for him and the men to rejoin the real battle as soon as possible. So Jonan reared around the corner with his hands pointed at the sky to appear non threatening. “Fine soldiers of Onderon, I am Jedi knight Jonan Seth and I am here to help you and your battle to keep the capitol.” Some of the men had jumped at the site of the man jumping around the corner. The captain aimed his blaster at Jonan. The captains face was hard and stony and he looked on with a look of suspicion. “What proof do you have that you a Jedi?” The captain put his finger on his trigger and let loose some of his deadly ammunition. Jonan called his light saber and ignited it before the bolts could reach the halfway point. Jonan reflected the bolts away from the troops. “What do you think your doing!” Roared Jonan at the top of his lungs. The captain gave him a smile and lowered his blaster. “Just testing to see that you would reflect the bolts away from us.” Jonan gave a look of puzzlement. Before he could ask any questions the Captain was already rounding his troops back up. “O.K. troops were going to get some help defending the palace from those droid bastards. Lets get ready to reinforce our brothers. Long live the royal family!” The troops roared with pleasure. The captain gave Jonan a severe look. “Were going to need your help. If we don’t get it were going to die here.” The captain looked like he was made out of Durasteel. Jonan nodded his head. “I’ll defend this city to my last breath.”

"not a really smart idea." anet said smugly as she deacvivated her force camoflage. "they brought in AATs and other tanks, they also have a dwarf spider droid in the palace, it's pounding the palace's forcefield as we speak." she said. "they also have a sith with them, it'll be suicide to even attack the sky ramp."

anet couldn't be more right, the droids were really giving onderon hell, they were at the final stage of the attack, breaching the forcefield. there were enough droids to make it suicide, even for a jedi and with renforcements on the way it made it nearly impossible to retake the palace without a fleet.
